I am conflicted. On the one hand I have worked hard at becoming a better person…I read books about positive thought and balance. I even watch Oprah! That training tells me to forgive the evil men who held those girls captive for 10 years in Ohio. According to my training I should pray for their souls. But on the other hand, the hand I throw a ball with and golf with and bat with, I want those three men castrated publicly and sentenced to life in prison where they will be repeatedly raped until they are dead. Such hatred I am capable of. It so upsets me that this happens in our world, and it so upsets me that I have such a violent reaction to it. I hate those men…I really truly hate them to my bones. And I hate that I hate them. It’s a viscous brutal scary cycle.
So, let’s focus on something different, shall we?
There is a boy whose name is Jedi Max…his dream was to visit Paris but he has cancer and isn’t going to be able to make it. Like many, my wife and kids wrote him a postcard and drew him pictures. Please refocus your energy and send him a postcard…just think about the impact to his soul when he gets hundreds of well wishes. Oh, and he has a 6-year old sister too…sending her a note of encouragement would mean a lot. 🙂 Jedi Max and his Sister. I will be sending my own postcard to max and his sister today…I feel better already…random acts of kindness…it’s the answer!

There is always going to be bad people in our world. There has been from the beginning of time when G-d created us and the first sibling rivalry transpired as one brother killed the other.
There are bacteria and mold spores that are so small that you can not see them with the naked eye but they also can hurt and be deadly. They do not awake in the morning as plan who they will go affect. They just are and therefore nature takes action. Good or bad.
I am glad that you better yourself and are evolving to become as good as you are able. However my dear, when you hate others it effects you and your body and even those around you. Therefore those people who are not altogether good are hurting you too by your reaction. There are things we can change and things that we have no control over. Did you ever see the movie a Beautiful Life? I wish I could be like that dad who through the most horrific events was so positive for his son that even though he died, good still came out of his allowing his son not to see the real truth of what they were in the middle of.
Be thankful for your blessings that G-D has bestowed on you and share what you can with others through love and caring. Be filled with grace and mercy.
The punishment you want to put on these men would come from others doing these sick and unmoral acts. Why would you want another person to have that ability to do the same to another for what ever reason.
In the end all will be justified. Teach your children well in all aspects of human goodness and be happy in your heart as there are better things to dwell on.
